We took a tiny idea and grew it into the Smart Cottage. Our homes are perfect for downsizing, relaxing at the lake, working at the ranch, or keeping aging parents close by. The Starling showcases affordable luxury standard features, including vaulted ceilings, tall banks of windows, a ceramic tile kitchen backsplash, and an 8-foot covered front porch. There’s an additional option to add a back porch with a bump-out for a BBQ as well as a kitchen island. 

More Smart Choices Available

• You can choose between a standard black powder-coated metal railing or upgrade to our signature galvalume metal conduit railing.
• For your Trex® decking, select either grey (clamshell) or brown (saddle). This composite decking is durable, requires minimal maintenance, and is resistant to termites and fading.
• Our cottages feature a standard 26-gauge galvalume metal roof. If you prefer, you can upgrade to a metallic copper-colored metal roof (manufactured homes only). Other metal roof color options include rustic red, Hawaiian blue, hunter green, and black. Or you can get shingles if you prefer.
